John was the sole munchkin in scouts today (Anna gets double brownie points for planning an activity for just one boy) and they made sugar cookies. Coincidentally, as Anna discovered, today really is National Sugar Cookie Day. What are the odds?(They were delicious by the way!)

There's a great saying I know, it goes, "when things are bad and getting worse always keep a cookie in your purse!" I LOVE cookies.
Ohh-- cookies! National Sugar Cookie Day? Darn- I missed it. Oh well- I guess I have the rest of the month to make up for it with ice-cream as July is national ice cream month!
