Fantastic.
Whether you have kids or not, this book is a must-read. Absolutely wonderful. If you do have kids, read it aloud to them. My whole family loved this book. We checked it out from the library (naturally) but we'll have to get our own copy. The beautiful illustrations are a bonus.

Really? I loved "WInn Dixie" but I didn't really go for "Despereaux." I guess I'll have to give this one a try though, just because its you recommending! :)
I LOVED this book and so did my children. We actually gave the book as a gift a few Christmases ago to other people in our family (parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts, etc.) because it was so utterly awesome.
So is it like a chapter book or is it a shorter one? If it's a chapter book then maybe I'll get it to read to my kids on our trip.

I love book recommendations because there are SO many books out there you never know what to read.
I was in Clayton's classroom and I saw that on the shelf. I recommended it to Clayton for a "just right" book for him to read in his "book bag" and he looked at the cover and said, "Mmm... No."
I guess it didn't look interesting enough for him. But, it's good to know you and others liked this. I will have to check it out and read it to/with my kids. Thanks!
