Extinct volcano crater in Mount Bosavi, Papua New GuineaYou may have heard about this already, but if not, I think this is totally cool. Scientists recently descended into that picturesque volcano crater and discovered a bunch of new species. Having never seen humans before, most of these animals had no fear of the scientists.

I don't know why, but it seems crazy to me that there is still uncharted territory on the earth. It blows my mind that there is so much still out there that we don't know about.
So, I'd have to agree, that's just cool.
I love the idea of something so new, innocent, and fresh. . . . unscathed by the effects of Obama's presidency.
