For some reason, he's been very tolerant of mom's new kitty, Socks. For those of you who know my husband, you'll understand how shocked I was to see this:

A cat curled up next to my husband, sound asleep, and my husband allowing it. In our 17 years of marriage, I've never seen this.

This is more the Brian I know:

How can ANYONE resist that precious little kitty! How sweet!
I was trying to see if i could wake it up
I can't say what i was really trying to do cuz Sheriff Joe might come after me!!!
Brian, Ryan, and I should start an anit-cat club. I'll nominate Brian as Pres. but I'll gladly take an office as well. Ryan DESPISES them. He just can't stand them. . . which is funny is you knew that we spent a summer cat-sitting. . . oh the memories. (we were poor desperate students!)
I don't even want to know what Jason would do with a sweet little kitten. Stories from his youth are bad enough!
What a sweet little kitty. My mom has a cat that looks just like that one and it's name is socks too.
I read your last post. AMAZING. You have all kinds of fun stories to tell.
Brians comments are cracking me up. I wanna join the anti-cat club too.
