P.S.

Freaking ROME!! I about jumped out of my seat when President Monson announced there's going to be a temple in Rome!! As if I needed any more reasons to go! Oh my holy. My frenzied thoughts went along the lines of: "I'm SO going! I'm gonna be at that dedication! I'll save every penny between now and then. I want to be there. I'm GOING to be there! What more worthy reason could I find? I'll set a goal and I'll do it!" (Repeat about a hundred times.)

Then Elder Perry talked about financial prudence and being debt-free and I thought, "Oh, well, I guess that would be a better goal." So maybe I won't be going after all.

But if I win the lottery, I'm SO GOING!!!!

You totally have to go Donna. Its a sign! If I win the lottery I will take you guys with us, plus anyone else you want to come-(theres nothing wrong with dreaming BIG!)
I loved your previous posts about your thoughts on conference. One thing that helps Daniel and I study those talks is we use those for our "couple study"- we try to read the Joseph Smith upcomming lesson on Sunday nights but then spend the rest of the week picking a talk from the most recent conference.
And for FHE-I made it a goal at the beginning of the year to do meaningful FHEs and we have actually done pretty good. Once a month we invite a family from the ward over for BBQ and we have them plan the lesson- then the next FHE we try to do an act of service/kindness, and the other two times a month we use the brilliant object lessons and ideas from sugardoodle.net or theideadoor.com. I try to plan it the Sunday before, just so I am prepared.
Not like you were asking for advice or anything, but I thought i would share what has worked for us in those two areas., just in case it could be of any help to you.

I just got caught up with reading your blog. I've been out of the loop for a while.

I loved reading your thoughts on conference. You are such a great person. Elder Uchtdorf's talk on Saturday made me think of you. Just because I know you love him. He really does give such amazing talks.

Pretty cool, but even cooler yet - a temple in Philadelphia, PA - now my parents only have to drive 2 1/2 hours to go to the temple instead of 4 hours!!

Now, when I go there (if only in my dreams...) It really will be Heaven!
