These pinewood derbys are so fun. I love looking at the different cars:
Look at that cute happy face one. Actually, I think it's Pikachu. :)This cheese car was my favorite, and it ended up winning first place.

Here's Ben's car:
A great big thank you goes to Brother Goff for helping Ben with his car. There's no way it would've look this good if we'd done it here at home. I love watching the boys gather in the pits as the excitement mounts. Here's Ben in the pits, waiting his turn.

I love watching the races. Ben getting ready to race:

I love the little award ceremony they have at the end. Everyone gets a certificate and a prize, and then they award prizes to the three fastest cars as well. Here's Ben getting an award for Most Futuristic Car. :)

It's been fun watching Ben take part in the Scout program. I'm grateful for all the good experiences and memories that program gives to my kids. :)

GREAT car! I love it. I hope Ben had a blast. I seriously think they should have a pinewood derby for adults as well. I'd love to make a car!
(sorry about the LOST picture, hope it didn't spoil anything - but the reasons for someone not being in that picture might surprise you. As long as Sawyer's in there, I'm happy).
Very impressive. I'm glad every boy could feel good about what he had done. When I read someone else's blog about pinewood derby I went to Ryan and said I felt bad he didn't ever get to do a pinewood derby. He said, "I don't!" I guess he's not really into that! Too bad, it looks fun to me!
Ben's car looked great! It is fun time for boys. Tyler loves his Picachu car. Tyler wants Ben to come over and play sometime.
He's such a cute little Cubbie. That cheese car is sweet. Ben's car is fancy. I have bad memories of Cub Scout awards... :)
Lovin those cars, but I am lovin that adorable boy of yours even more. Sheesh- how he's grown!
